At The Rebel Kitchenn, we love food. It is our passion. Preparing food. Cooking food. It’s what we do best. With us, meals are not just meals. We don’t do ordinary. Meals are about togetherness. Bringing family and friends around a table. And good food does that.
Our meals have the edge you don’t find easily. We add The Rebel to our meals.
Sure you can order a meal. Or takeouts from any fast food place. But does that make it a real meal?
A home cooked meal that leaves you with a smile on your face. The difference is how we make our food. A mac n cheese is a mac n cheese is mac n cheese, right? Wrong. Where is The Rebel in that? We’ll share our mac n cheese secret with you.
Only cream. Heavy cream and whipping cream. 3 cheeses. A subtle hint of garlic. Topped with more cheeses. Herb seasoned breadcrumbs. Baked to a golden goodness. That’s our difference.
Good food is deserved by everybody. We eat to live.
So why not live well.
At TRK, we see to it that everybody can have a good meal. A cosy meal for 2. A family dinner to discuss the days happening over. Or a feast for everybody to forage. Although not our mainstream focus, we’ve even done dinners for one.
Our food speaks for itself. It’s not your usual meals.

Now you get to have it on your dinner table. What you think of as a fancy dinner is just another day’s cooking for us. You deserve that fancy. Any day.

The Rebel Chef

Trading in his tie and collar in Corporate Banking for a chef’s coat, Chef Marlan Pather decided to pursue his passion in all things cuisine. A culinary graduate since 2014, he embarked on making The Rebel Kitchenn a household name. And we are well on our way to that. With followers numbering thousands, Chef Marlan lives to make magic in the kitchen. Creating spectacular recipes. Perfecting his craft. He does what he loves. Unashamedly brazen in his food creations.
His training has that international flair.
From the villas of the south of France to the kitchens of no nonsense nonnas in Tuscany. And the street kitchens of the East.
Chef Marlan has honed his skills to bring perfection to a plate.
